David Crosby, importante músico estadounidense, ha fallecido a los 81 años tras una "larga enfermedad".

The Byrds' first five albums featured the vocalist, guitarist, and composer, who covered Bob Dylan's Mr. Tambourine Man in 1965.

Cofundó Crosby, Stills & Nash con Stephen Stills y Graham Nash. Neil Young se unió más tarde.

"Tras una larga enfermedad, nuestro querido David (Croz) Crosby ha fallecido con gran pesar", declaró su viuda Jan Dance. Jan y Django fueron sus cariñosos compañeros.

Floyd Crosby ganó un Oscar por su trabajo como director de fotografía, y su hijo, David Crosby, abandonó los estudios en Los Ángeles y se dedicó a la música.

Crosby se unió a los Byrds en 1964, pero tres años después le echaron del grupo.
