"I Can Hardly Speak" es la cuarta canción que Bombay Bicycle Club han compartido de Everything Else Has Gone Wrong, su nuevo álbum de estudio.

"I Can Hardly Speak" es el último single de Bombay Bicycle Club, el cuarto extraído de Everything Else Has Gone Wrong, álbum que verá la luz el próximo 17 de enero a través de Caroline International / Island Records. El sencillo llega tras "Racing Stripes", "Everything Else has Gone Wrong" y "Eat, Sleep, Wake (Nothing But You)".

La banda ha aprovechado su cuenta de Instagram para felicitar a sus seguidores por el año nuevo y también para explicar los orígenes del tema:

Happy New Year. We hope you’ve all recovered from the excesses of last night. If you’re hungover, dreading going back to work, or simply wallowing in shame, we have a tonic — another new song. I Can Hardly Speak was one of the first songs to be written for the album. In fact, it was written while we were still touring So Long, See You Tomorrow in 2014, although we only rediscovered the demo this year when the album was nearly finished. The song is self-explanatory, it’s a song about struggling to express yourself with words and being an introvert. Listening link in the bio. The lyric video was made by Jonny Sanders/Prehuman (prehuman.co.uk) and inspired by the art of @mariamedem who has been doing all the artwork for the album. Here’s hoping things look up in 2020. Love Bombay xxx
